Farmers Markets & Fall Festivals on SLO's North Coast: Local Guide 2025

Looking for weekend ideas close to home? Fall in San Luis Obispo's north coast communities are full of local flavor, from bustling farmers markets to family-friendly festivals. These events aren’t just fun—they’re a great way to explore these coastal neighborhoods, meet local vendors, and feel more connected to the community.

Farmers' Markets on SLO's north coast

1.  Cambria's Farmers Market

  • Address: 1000 Main Street, Cambria, CA

  • Dates/Hours: Fridays, 2:30 Pm – 5 PM 

  • Description: Cambria’s market aims to provide the highest quality seasonal produce and prepared foods to our community and visitors.

  • Parking: There is limited parking  in the Vets Hall Parking, but plenty of parking in the Pinedorado Grounds on the other side of the Vets hall.

2.  Morro Bay Community Farmers Market

  • Address: 2650 Main Street, Morro Bay, CA

  • Dates/Hours: Thursdays, 2 PM – 4:30 PM 

  • Description: The Morro Bay Farmers’ Market smells of the ocean, but reaps the rewards of the land. Farmers from as far south as Goleta, east as Delano, and north as Salinas come to sell their goods at this Thursday afternoon market.

3.  Baywood/Los Osos Farmers Market

  • Address: Santa Maria between 2nd and 3rd Streets, Los Osos, CA

  • Dates/Hours: Mondays, 2 PM – 4:30 PM 

  • Description:  Shop for the best ingredients each week. Get a wider variety of fruits and vegetables with an assortment of colors, textures, and flavors not found in the supermarket.

4.  Morro Bay's Farmers Market

  • Address: Main Street at Morro Bay Blvd, Morro Bay

  • Dates/Hours: Saturdays, 230 PM – 5 PM 

  • Description:  Shop for a variety of fruits and vegetables and more.

Festivals and More

1.  Cambria's Scarecrow Festival

  • Address: Cambria, CA

  • Dates/Hours: October 1st through 31st

  • Description:  More than 200 imaginative and whimsical scarecrows will line the streets of Cambria’s East and West Villages, Moonstone Beach, and San Simeon. The scarecrows are the perfect manifestation of Cambria’s incredibly artistic community.

2.  Morro Bay Maritime Family Fun Day

  • Address: 1210 Embarcadero Rd, Morro Bay, CA

  • Dates/Hours: October 11th, 10 AM - 4 PM

  • Description: This will be a fun filled day of fish painting, knot tying, sandcastle building, fishing games and more! The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be bringing an exhibit, the Lion’s Club will be selling hot dogs, and so much more!

3.  Cayucos Car Show

  • Address: Cayucos, CA

  • Dates/Hours: October 25th, 8 AM - 4 PM

  • Description: 34th Annual. Enjoy a live band under the sun, a beer garden and BBQ while checking out beautiful classic cars through downtown Cayucos.

4.  Los Osos/Baywood Park Oktoberfest

  • Address: Los Osos, CA

  • Dates/Hours: October 26th, 9AM - 5:30 PM

  • Description: 46th Annual. Fun run, pancake breakfast, vendors, entertainment, car show and Biergarten

5.  Witches and Warlocks Paddle

  • Address: Coleman Park, Morro Bay

  • Dates/Hours: October 25th, 12PM

  • Description: This bewitching event is open to the public. Don your favorite witch or warlock costume and meet at the north end of the bay along the Embarcadero, for a ghoulish afternoon on the water.
